Triton's Chest | Cuepoxy Collectible Mug #23
Secure checkout
In Greek mythology, Triton is the son of Poseidon and Amphitrite, known for sounding his conch shell across the sea. Cuepoxy’s Triton’s Chest imagines a treasure the ocean might keep for its herald; the chest and its contents are an artistic story, not a detail from the ancient myths.
An oval form armored with pointed spiral shells surrounds beads, stones and pearls. Beneath it, a round resin base with four white scallop shells suggests that this treasure rises from the sea. Carry a little of that ocean mystery into a coffee or tea break with collectible mug #23.

Artist’s Note
I built the oval form shell by shell, letting it feel like a sealed world with more to discover inside. The artwork featured on this mug is a real, handcrafted Cuepoxy piece in my private collection; the physical original is not included with the mug. This is collectible mug #23 of 30, created so the image can be enjoyed beyond the private collection. The artwork may also be presented in other formats, including wall art.
