The Shell of Manannán | Cuepoxy Collectible Mug #7
Secure checkout
In Irish tradition, Manannán mac Lir is a figure of the sea and the Otherworld, often linked with journeys beyond familiar shores. His presence suggests a passage between what is known and what lies beyond the horizon.
The Shell of Manannán imagines such a passage through Cuepoxy’s original artwork: a white figure emerging from a dark oyster shell above a blue-green resin base. On this mug, the image invites a quiet moment with the idea of transformation, of carrying something precious forward when one chapter gives way to another.

Artist’s Note
When I found the dark oyster shell, I imagined a soft figure emerging from its hard interior. The artwork shown on this mug is a real, handcrafted Cuepoxy piece in my private collection; the original artwork is not included with the mug. This is collectible mug #7 of 30, created so more people can bring an image of the collection into their homes. The collection may also be presented in other formats, including wall art.
