Stella Maris | Cuepoxy Collectible Mug #22
Secure checkout
Stella Maris means “Star of the Sea,” a name long associated with guidance across the water and, in Christian tradition, a title of Mary. In this artwork, the fixed point a traveler searches for becomes an invitation to pause and find your bearings.
Cuepoxy’s Stella Maris centers a luminous green resin pillar crowned with white shells. Dark beads form four directions around a golden pearl; below, open oyster shells cradle a bronze rose above a round blue base dotted with stars, shells and starfish. Bring its ocean-inspired image to your daily coffee or tea with collectible mug #22.

Artist’s Note
I made the cross of dark beads as a compass of four directions rather than a religious statement, with the golden pearl at the still center. This composition is my artistic interpretation of a guiding star at sea. The artwork featured on this mug is a real, handcrafted Cuepoxy piece in my private collection; the physical original is not included with the mug. This is collectible mug #22 of 30, created so the image can be enjoyed beyond the private collection. The artwork may also be presented in other formats, including wall art.
