The Throne of Atlantis | Cuepoxy Collectible Mug #18
Secure checkout
Plato’s Timaeus and Critias tell of Atlantis, an island civilization lost beneath the sea. Whether read as story or philosophical warning, its disappearance has inspired generations to imagine what the water might still conceal.
Cuepoxy’s The Throne of Atlantis imagines a throne room below the waves. Purple and green coral suggest the seat, an open clam reveals a pearl, and blue-green crystal details rise between coral columns above a resin base. On this mug, the scene invites a moment with the beauty of unfinished stories and the ocean’s enduring mystery.

Artist’s Note
I began with the question of what an imagined throne room might look like beneath the sea, then arranged the coral, clam, and crystals around that vision. The artwork featured on this mug is a real, handcrafted Cuepoxy piece in my private collection; the physical original is not included with the mug. This is collectible mug #18 of 30, created so the image can be enjoyed beyond the private collection. The artwork may also be presented in other formats, including wall art.
